June 16, 2025, New York: In a strong push to enter telecom, the Trump Organization launched Trump Mobile along with a phone for $499. A new move into the wireless world was revealed today at Trump Tower in New York City, showing just how much the Trump brand is growing.
The new service comes with a subscription called the “47 Plan” which costs $47.45 each month. With this plan, you get all-you-can-use talk, text, and data along with handy extras like telehealth and roadside help.
Donald Trump Jr., who announced the initiative, emphasized the service’s commitment to American manufacturing, stating, “We are going to be introducing an entire package of products where people can come and they can get telemedicine on their phones for one flat monthly fee, roadside assistance on their cars, unlimited texting to 100 countries around the world.”

The T1 Phone will soon be ready for pre-order and it stands out with its gold finish, slim style, 6.8-inch AMOLED display, 50-megapixel main camera, and 12GB of RAM. The company plans to release the phone in September 2025 and it comes with Android.
The Trump Organization hopes to win over conservative shoppers and pitch Trump Mobile as a new option besides major carriers like Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile.
“A big part of what we’ve done has been focused on technology for people who have been underserved… one of the places where we felt there was lackluster performance was in the mobile industry,” Donald Trump Jr. remarked during the launch event.
The company promised to keep its customer service in the U.S., so all call centers will stay here. Eric Trump pointed this out, stating, “You’re not calling up call centers in Bangladesh. You’re doing it right out of St. Louis, Missouri.”
Right now, Trump Mobile is being launched even though three big players have a strong grip on more than 95% of the U.S. mobile market. As the Trump Organization jumps into this tight market, questions pop up about whether it can keep customers coming back when others are already well known.
While the goals look impressive, experts have spotted a few challenges. It costs a lot to make smartphones locally and rolling out a new mobile network isn’t simple. The Trump Organization picked a license deal for its name so it does not take part in designing or building the smartphone. By joining the mobile market, the Trump Organization hopes Trump Mobile can connect with its audience and hold its own against big phone brands. “Trump Mobile is going to change the game,” Donald Trump Jr. declared, signaling the family’s commitment to this new business endeavor.
According to the Office of Government Ethics form released on Friday, Trump earned more than $600 million in 2024, including roughly $57.4 million from the World Liberty Financial cryptocurrency platform. On February 20, 2025, Trump owned 114.75 million shares of Trump Media & Technology Group, which runs Truth Social, through a revocable trust. That’s 52 percent of the total shares and it’s currently valued at more than $2.2 billion.
Ahead of Monday’s news, the Trump Organization announced that on June 16, 2025, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump plan to visit the iconic Trump Tower to honor the 10-year mark since their father’s well-known escalator moment when he declared he’d run for President. Ten years down the road, they will roll out a major announcement about a new move by the Trump Organization that will turn heads again.
