CANAPI conducts free HIV testing, counseling and referral services to individuals at a heightened risk of infection. We have walk-in testing is available every Thursday. Testing also is available by appointment Mondays through Thursdays. Call or email (number and address are below) for more information. PFLAG, founded in 1972 by the mom of a gay son, is the extended family of the LGBTQ community. The national organization with 200 chapters is made up of LGBTQ individuals, family members and allies. The Akron PFLAG chapter meets on the third Thursday of every month.

Are you transgender, gender non-conforming, genderqueer, non-binary, a butchqueen or questioning your gender? Come to Mozaic's Trans Resource Tuesdays. It's open to the non-cisgender, non-questioning community, but priority is given to people of color. Each Tuesday, staff is on hand to offer free and confidential HIV/STI testing and is prepared to help people access free or low-cost gender-inclusive resources for food, shelter, housing, healthcare (hormones, STI treatment, medical providers, etc.), clothes and more.
