This monthly student gathering is a space for QTPOC at Ohio State University to come together and discuss the intersections of race and LGBTQ identities. This is a social space that facilitates dialogue around QTPOC experiences, how QTPOC students can find and build community, learn self-advocacy skills and get connected to the many resources available on campus and in the local community. The QTPOC Q*mmunity meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month.

The 1999 film directed by Shaker Heights native Jamie Babbit stars Natasha Lyonne and Clea Duvall as high-schoolers who fall in love at a "conversion therapy" camp. Babbit, who is a lesbian, will be at Case Western's LGBT Center on Saturday, April 6 at 4 p.m. for a meet-and-greet.

Following a Friday, April 5 screening of her 1999 film, "But I'm a Cheerleader," director Jamie Babbit will be at Case Western Reserve University's LGBT Center for a meet-and-greet on Saturday, April 6. Babbit was born in Shaker Heights and grew up in Cleveland. Her other film credits include "The Quiet" and "Itty Bitty Titty Committee," and she also has directed episodes of "The L Word" and "Russian Doll."
