For the second straight year during Pride month, the Cincinnati Reds will add orange, yellow, green, blue and violet to their signature color.

Cincinnati Pride will join the Major League baseball team for its second annual Pride Night game on Saturday, June 1 at Great American Ball Park. Tickets run from $15 for view-level seats to $65 for infield box seats. The first 1,000 people to buy tickets will get a Reds 2019 Pride hat, which features the Reds’ logo and sports a rainbow bill.

At least 23 Major League franchises hosted Pride nights during the 2018 season, although Cleveland’s team was an exception. The NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers and NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets also host annual events for LGBTQ fans.

There’s a Pride Night listed for Saturday, Aug. 24 at Cleveland’s Progressive Field, but no details are on the team’s website.

In Cincinnati, the June 1 Pride Night will include a pre-game ceremony to honor the 2019 Community Advocate Award winner. Fans also can gather in the Machine Room, a pub inside the ballpark, before and during the game.
