Dinner and a discussion are planned in Columbus, a community conversation is planned in Cincinnati, and there’s a party tonight in Toledo in honor of Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. 

First, the party: It’s a Red Party—as in, wear red, because there’s a Best Red Outfit contest—that starts at 9 p.m. at McCune’s Other Side Bistro (5038 Lewis Ave., Toledo, 43612). Entertainers include DJ L Weez, hostess T.T., Nikka Fierce, Fearless, the Fabulous Raven, Destin and Aaron Knowles.

The dinner and discussion in Columbus will take place at the Lincoln Café (740 E. Long St., 43203).  

In Cincinnati, the community conversation is centered on the topic of “Let’s End the Stigma.” Hosted by the Infectious Diseases Division of the University of Cincinnati, it includes Cincinnati City Council member Tamaya Dennard, artist and activist Tim’m West and UC Dr. Senu Apewokin. 

It takes place from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at Revel Urban Winery, 111 E. 12th St., Cincinnati, 45202. 

At all three events, free HIV testing will be offered.
