Yesterday’s “We will not be erased” protest issued a crowd of Trans, Gender non-conforming, and Non-Binary Columbusites and their allies rallying from the Capital building to Goodale Park, chanting “Trans rights are human rights!” Speakers including Trans Veterans, community leaders, and allies like Rick Neal shared testimonies, encouragement, and possible next steps to continue the fight against erasure with the Trump administration’s anti-trans agenda.

Protest organizer Felicia DeRosa said, “It is time we all come together in love to fight this hateful rhetoric. No one has the right to tell you who you are. We have always been here and we always will be, no matter what!”
