Organizers announced after last year’s Pride Night at Kings Island that the event was being put to rest after 20 years.
It was a short rest, though.
Cincinnati Pride has taken responsibility for the legendary event that draws LGBTQ people from across the Midwest. It will take place on Friday, Sept. 7 at the 364-acre amusement park north of Cincinnati.
Shangela will be the headline entertainer—halleloo!—and Ada Vox from the latest season of “American Idol” will perform as well. Cincinnati Pride says local entertainers will fill out the bill.
And they promise there will be no long wait for rides.
Tickets are $39, and groups of seven or more get a small discount. Free parking is included with tickets. You can get tickets here.
The parking area opens at 5 p.m., and the park is open from 6 p.m.-midnight.
