Enjoy the Columbus Gay Men's Chorus as they perform the National Anthem at Pride Night with the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday, Feb. 10. The Jackets won, 6-1, so they must have brought good luck!

The Columbus Blue Jackets hosted a Pride Night for LGBTQ fans on Saturday, Feb. 10 as part of the National Hockey League’s effort to welcome diverse groups into the sport.

Hockey Is for Everyone Night also included recognition of women’s and youth teams and sled hockey for those with physical disabilities.

The Columbus Gay Men’s Chorus joined the Blue Jackets’ Leo Welsh to sing the National Anthem, and You Can Play board member David Palumbo was interviewed on the Nationwide Arena video board about the national group that works to eliminate homophobia and transphobia in sports.

Central Ohio’s Kaleidoscope Youth Center also was recognized.
