On Faith:

“Faith, to me, is a belief in the power of Love to transform us and our world. I believe my purpose is to continually seek to grow in heart, mind and spirit, and to befriend people, communities and creation in a way that celebrates our differences, challenges the status quo and calls us to live more deeply from the truth that we are One, and none of us are free until all of us are free.”

Her Advice to the LGBTQ Community:

“First, I’m not much on advice-giving. I find listening a better tool for Wisdom to be revealed, but if I were to offer something it would be along the lines of: Let us not grow complacent in our call for justice for ourselves and all who are relegated to the margins of society. Explore your spiritual capacities, stay curious about truth, and do whatever makes you come alive because the world needs people who are awake, passionate and engaged to make a difference, and I believe the LGBTQ community can lead the way!”
